The ISPE (The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) was founded in 1980, initially through the collaboration of several engineers. This forum focuses on practical applications, regulations, ideas, and other innovations within the pharmaceutical, science, and technology industries. This forum also allows the individual members and experts of Regulatory Authorities to engage in open dialogue about the regulations affecting these industries.
The PDA (Parenteral Drug Association) was initially started in 1946 by professional pharmaceutical manufacturers who promulgated technical information within the industry. In recognizing the importance of the organization, The PDA broadened its global vision with regional PDA Chapters. Regional PDA Chapters provide unique services to their constituents, including publications, networking, student scholarships, and annual regulatory and technical conferences. Volunteer leaders manage each Chapter.
